The Link dialog box enables you to insert a new link in your Web Page or modify the existing one.

The dialog box consists of the following tabs:

To Page
Select this tab if you want to insert link referring to a page within your Web Site. The pages in the project are listed in the Page field. Click the page from the list. You also can select a bookmark within the page to insert a link to (see Bookmarks for more information). Check the Open in New browser checkbox, to open the page in a new browser.

To Resource
You can insert link to any physical resource in your project: image, page and any file (e.g., .zip or .wav files). Select a resource from the Resource tree.
You can insert a link to a bookmark in the selected Plain Page (not Frame Set). Choose a bookmark from the Bookmark drop-down list.
If you want to insert a link to the frame-content overlay of the frame, select the Frame Set from the drop-down list, select the frame name in the Frame drop-down list, then choose an appropriate item from the Frame-Content Overlay drop-down list. You can insert a link to a bookmark in the selected Frame-Content Overlay.

Relative

Here you can insert a link relatively to the currently active Page or Frame-Source Overlay. The available options are:

Check the Open in New browser check box to open the page in the new browser window.

External
To insert an external link (link to any resource on the Internet), choose a protocol from the URL drop-down list. You also can type in your custom protocol name. Then type the address of the resource (e.g. www.ddd.com/home.html). All the external URLs used in the site are listed below, so that you can choose any of them.
Check the Open in New browser check box to open the page in new browser.

Lock Link Mode
This option is available if you have applied link insertion without selecting anything. The Link button will remain pressed, and everything you type and insert will be interpreted as a link. When you have finished typing the link text unlock this mode by clicking the Link button once more.

Assign URL
This option is available if you have applied link insertion on a selection. It enables you to change the destination of the link, but you can not change the link text.

Insert Link
This option is available if you have applied link insertion without selecting anything. It enables you to select the link destination. Before pressing the Insert Link button, you have to type the link text.

Replace Link
This option is available if you have applied link insertion on a selection. It enables you to change both the link destination and the link text.

The Advanced... button enables you to perform advanced operations with HTML coding and scripting in the Advanced Web operations dialog box.
